Montessori Infant Program | Endeavor Montessori

Your baby's earliest months are filled with quiet discoveries and beautiful firsts. From the first time your baby lifts their head during tummy time to the moment they reach for a favorite object, every experience shapes how your child's brain develops and how they begin to understand the world. These formative years are the foundation of your child's development, and every loving interaction, every moment of exploration, and every sense of security helps your child grow. At Endeavor Montessori, our Montessori infant program honors this precious beginning with care, respect, and deep understanding of how infants learn. Our infant Montessori classroom is a calm and nurturing space where your baby is supported through gentle guidance, meaningful interaction, and a thoughtfully prepared environment. Guided by the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, our infant Montessori approach helps each child build confidence, independence, and a natural love of learning during the earliest stages of life.

Curriculum Focus

Our Montessori infant program supports your baby through freedom of movement, responsive care, and a carefully designed Montessori classroom that encourages exploration. Inspired by the Montessori philosophy developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, our program nurtures cognitive, language, and motor development while allowing your little one to follow their child's natural passion for discovery.

Daily Routine

Your baby's day follows calm, predictable rhythms that support healthy sleep habits, feeding routines, and gentle learning experiences. Activities such as tummy time, floor time, independent play, language interaction, and large motor activities help little ones strengthen gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination while supporting each child's progress.

Classroom Experience

Our infant Montessori classroom feels peaceful, warm, and purposeful. Soft rugs invite freedom of movement, mirrors support body awareness, and low shelves hold beautiful materials designed for infants. Every Montessori classroom is a carefully designed, prepared environment where babies feel safe to explore and where parents feel secure knowing their child is cared for with attention and love.

About Our Montessori Infant Program

Many parents wonder if education truly matters during infancy. The truth is that a child's brain develops faster during the first years of life than at any other time. These formative years shape how children think, communicate, move, and build relationships. According to early childhood research, high-quality early education supports cognitive and social development, as well as long-term learning outcomes. In our Montessori school, we support the whole child through meaningful interaction, careful daily observations, and environments that encourage discovery.

From 6 Weeks to 18 Months: Child Development Support For Every Stage

From the moment of birth, your baby begins absorbing the world through movement, connection, and exploration. The Montessori approach supports each child's development by recognizing that infants pass through sensitive periods where learning happens naturally and effortlessly. Within our infant Montessori classroom, children explore early versions of the same curriculum areas that guide learning throughout childhood.

  • Practical Life - Practical life experiences support independence, coordination, and trust. Everyday routines such as feeding, diaper change, dressing, and gentle care help the child develop early awareness of their body and surroundings.
  • Sensorial - Sensorial exploration helps little ones organize their senses and build early cognitive development. Through textures, sounds, light, movement, and specially designed Montessori materials, babies strengthen visual discrimination, object permanence, and curiosity about their environment.
  • Language - Warm conversation, storytelling, singing, and naming objects support early language development. Long before spoken words appear, babies absorb language through loving interaction.
  • Early Mathematical Awareness - Through simple discoveries such as stacking, sorting, and transferring objects, babies begin to notice patterns, sequences, and cause and effect.
  • Cultural Exploration - Children naturally develop curiosity about the world around them. Gentle exposure to music, nature, art, and community nurtures children's curiosity, appreciation for diversity, and early connection to their Montessori school community.

More than anything I love how much my son LOVES school. After a week of starting he would gladly walk into class. He even runs to greet one of his teachers, and my son doesn’t warm up to people easily. He has grown and we are impressed with his skills everyday. Endeavor has been a great find for our family and we enjoy being apart of the community. Even teachers not in my son’s class recognize him and interact with him in the halls. Thank you everyone. 🫶🏾
